LICORS MOYÀ RECEIVES THE MEDAL OF HONOR AND GRATITUDE OF THE ISLAND OF MALLORCA

Licors Moyà, a family business from Artà devoted to making traditional liqueurs since the 19th century, has been awarded the Medal of Honor and Gratitude of the Island of Mallorca by the Consell Insular.

This honor recognizes the company’s legacy in emblematic products such as Anís Estrella de Artà, Herbes Moyà, and Palo Moyà, as well as its endurance over six generations, preserving artisanal quality and strong ties to the local territory.

The award was presented during the Premis, Honors i Distincions 2025, an institutional ceremony by the Consell de Mallorca that aims to acknowledge people and entities playing a significant role in the welfare, culture, and identity of Mallorca.

For Licors Moyà, this distinction means public recognition of their commitment to craft traditions and the patrimonial value of Mallorcan liqueurs — and it is also a strong motivation to continue producing high-quality, locally rooted products infused with identity and excellence.
